About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation, a global leader in lift truck manufacturing, is seeking a Sales Representative to sell select products within a designated geographical territory and/or assigned accounts. This role may involve a team approach, assisting other sales positions with territory management and communication, and participating in corporate and local campaigns. The Sales Representative will make sales calls to qualify prospects both in person and over the telephone, generate leads, and be involved in information gathering, tracking, and follow-up of leads and inquiries. The position also requires participation in training activities locally, in the field, and occasionally at the New Bremen, Ohio corporate headquarters, as well as collaboration with various departments within the branch.

Requirements

  • Less than 2 years related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos.
  • Work Authorization: Crown will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States. This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided. Individuals with temporary visas or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Intermediate computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability and willingness to work outside normal business hours to prepare for sales activities

Responsibilities
