About The Position

As a Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for hitting sales targets and managing all activities in your assigned accounts. You'll develop strong business relationships with your customers and handle all marketing and merchandising efforts. Essentially, you'll be the business manager for your accounts, coordinating all company activities to ensure success. This position is commission-based, with an estimated annual commissions range of $50,000-$56,000. In addition to commissions, the role is eligible for Pay for Performance compensation with an 80% attainment target of $14,250/year.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • A valid Massachusetts driver’s license and registration
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience, preferably in the beverage industry

Responsibilities

  • Visit your assigned retail accounts regularly to sell volume, increase distribution, and ensure proper merchandising, pricing, and shelf space management
  • Build strong business relationships and deliver professional sales presentations using sales histories and pitch books
  • Monitor and rotate stocks to maintain product freshness standards in your retail accounts
  • Keep the mobility system up to date
  • Sell new placements and merchandise with paper and book permanent POCM
  • Increase shelf space and improve positioning for A-B products while introducing new brands and packages when appropriate
  • Collaborate with the credit department to resolve credit issues and collect past-due balances
  • Make daily decisions on retail inventory levels based on past sales history, climate changes, competitive activity, and special promotional activities.
