About The Position

We are FlatWorld, a rapidly growing publisher disrupting the Higher Education textbook industry by offering affordable, high-quality, digital-first textbooks and an integrated Homework system. As a Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in persuading faculty to adopt our products. You will be the face of FlatWorld, building relationships and identifying decision-makers. This role requires strategic planning, effective time management, and the ability to work autonomously while maintaining a sense of urgency. You will utilize Salesforce for CRM, research college and university websites to identify teaching assignments and faculty, and analyze bookstore websites to understand current textbook usage. The sales process involves following up with instructors via email, calls, and video conferencing, demonstrating our assessment platform using a consultative sales methodology, and ensuring a smooth transition for adopting instructors and their students. Building relationships with existing faculty is important for referrals, but your highest priority will be driving new business, with generous, uncapped commission potential.
