About The Position

Sleep Number’s Sales Representatives help customers find products that meet their individual sleep needs while contributing directly to the company’s purpose of improving lives by personalizing sleep. The role offers an opportunity to grow a retail sales career, with salary, uncapped commission, and bonus potential.

Representatives provide personalized customer experiences by explaining product benefits and promotions, building customer relationships, and working toward individual and team sales goals. They also help maintain a polished showroom and take part in sales training and coaching.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to diverse customer needs.
• A goal-oriented, customer-focused attitude and drive to exceed individual and team sales goals.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• 1–2 years of retail, customer service, or other customer-facing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in consultative or relationship-based sales, ideally in a commission-driven environment.
• Comfort using CRM systems, point-of-sale technology, and interactive sales tools such as iPads and apps.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with a team.
• Energetic and proactive approach in a customer-focused environment.
• Willingness to welcome feedback and coaching.
• Tech-savvy and an early adopter.

Responsibilities

• Discover each customer’s sleep needs and match them with appropriate Sleep Number products.
• Explain product benefits and current promotions to deliver personalized customer experiences, improve satisfaction, and exceed sales goals.
• Nurture prospective customers through outbound calls and build relationships that generate repeat and new business.
• Work with the team to maintain a polished showroom and provide an exceptional store experience.
• Participate in sales practice training and coaching.
