About The Position

Berger is looking for a high-energy, results-oriented Sales Representative to drive growth across a strategic territory in Ontario, Canada. In this role, you will promote and sell Berger’s industry-leading horticultural products to professional growers in ornamental, fruits and vegetable markets. This opportunity is ideal for someone motivated by challenges, passionate about customer success, and eager to contribute to the ongoing growth of an industry leader.

Requirements

  • Degree in horticulture, agriculture, or equivalent relevant training/experience.
  • Demonstrated sales success with a solid solution-selling approach.
  • Knowledge or experience in controlled environment agriculture including leafy greens fruit, and vegetable production.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking abilities.
  • Equally comfortable being self-directed, motivated, and working within a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to travel regularly within the territory; valid driver’s license and passport required.
  • Willing to travel outside of territory 3-4 times per year for sales meetings and industry events.
  • Knowledgeable working in CRM tools and digital sales platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Grow an opportunistic territory and position Berger products using proven consultative selling skills.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to anticipate and forecast their needs.
  • Represent Berger as an engaged ambassador within industry associations and networks.
  • Oversee the order entry process, ensuring accurate submission and follow-up.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Logistics, Customer Service, Technical Advisors, etc.) to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Maintain a proactive presence in the market by gathering and sharing customer insights and industry feedback.
  • Drive customer engagement through a structured, results-oriented sales process.
