We are FlatWorld, a rapidly growing publisher disrupting the Higher Education textbook industry by offering high-quality, digital-first textbooks at affordable prices. As a Sales Representative, you will be instrumental in persuading faculty within your assigned territory to adopt FlatWorld textbooks and our integrated Homework system. You will be the face of FlatWorld, building relationships and driving new business. This role requires strategic planning, effective time management, and a strong focus on uncovering opportunities and closing sales. You will utilize Salesforce for CRM, research university websites for faculty and course information, and engage with instructors via email, calls, and video conferencing. A key part of the role involves demonstrating FlatWorld's assessment platform and associated products using a consultative sales methodology. You will also collaborate with our Customer Success team to ensure a smooth transition for adopting instructors and their students. Building and maintaining relationships with existing faculty is important for generating referrals, but your highest priority will be driving new revenue, for which you will be generously compensated with uncapped commissions.
