About The Position

This field-based sales role supports neurosurgical procedures and helps healthcare providers evaluate medical technologies across an assigned territory. The Sales Representative works directly with surgeons, hospital teams, and clinical staff, providing product expertise, procedural support, and consultative sales solutions in clinical environments. The role includes building a territory, developing customer relationships, and contributing to the growth of Stryker’s neurosurgical product portfolio. The position is 100% commission and is eligible for bonuses and benefits. Travel is 20%.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of quota-carrying outside sales experience in medical device, healthcare, or consultative sales; or a bachelor’s degree and experience in a customer-facing, leadership, military, professional athletics, or another high-performance environment, with interest in a sales career; or a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in outside sales, business-to-business sales, or territory-based selling with a history of achieving performance goals.
Ability to provide in-person support during product evaluations and procedures in clinical environments.
Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds in a clinical environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory, including customer sites, healthcare facilities, and business meetings.

Responsibilities

Promote and sell neurosurgical products across an assigned territory, meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Support product evaluations, surgical procedures, and clinical demonstrations in operating rooms and procedural settings.
Educate surgeons, nurses, and healthcare professionals on product applications, clinical data, and economic value.
Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, health systems, surgeons, and key clinical stakeholders.
Identify new business opportunities, account expansion opportunities, and territory growth initiatives.
Track sales activity, territory performance, and customer engagement using approved business tools and reporting processes.
Coordinate case coverage and provide on-site support during neurosurgical procedures.
Collaborate with regional leadership to develop territory plans, prioritize accounts, and execute business objectives.
