Requirements

  • Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of property and casualty insurance.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of calls in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and engage customers effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM or dialer systems.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a call center, outbound sales, or customer service role is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support high-volume outbound calls using an automated dialer system.
  • Engage customers professionally to introduce auto and home insurance products.
  • Identify customer needs and qualify leads for follow-up by licensed advisors.
  • Accurately document call outcomes, customer information, and next steps in the system.
  • Schedule callbacks or transfers to the appropriate sales teams.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
  • Meet or exceed daily and weekly performance targets related to calls and lead generation.
  • Handle objections effectively while maintaining a positive customer experience.

Benefits

  • Hourly salary of $22.
  • 4-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
  • Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
  • Weekday schedule between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm.
  • Saturday shifts from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturday work performed remotely.
  • Day off in lieu of Saturday work assigned by the business.
  • Primarily on-site role in Markham, Ontario.
  • Work schedule provided in advance.
  • Structured training provided at the start of the assignment.
