About The Position

Cornucopia Bio is an AI-native automation company at the intersection of assay execution and lab automation. They are seeking a high-performing sales operator capable of building a pipeline from scratch, navigating complex pharma and biotech organizations, and independently closing deals in an early-stage environment. This is a 90-day retainer engagement offering significant commission upside, designed for an autonomous operator seeking direct involvement in the company's success.

Requirements

  • Proven track record selling into pharma, biotech, or life sciences, demonstrating an understanding of how buyers in these organizations think and buy
  • A hunter mentality, capable of both sourcing and closing deals without relying on inbound leads
  • Comfortable operating in an early-stage, founder-led company where processes are still forming
  • Adept at outbound prospecting, possessing a methodology and a personal network that can be activated quickly
  • Self-directed, accountable, and transparent about successes and challenges

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with assay workflows (qPCR, ELISA) and/or lab automation

Responsibilities

  • Run outbound pipeline across enterprise and mid-size pharma and biotech accounts, utilizing email, LinkedIn, and warm network introductions
  • Target 8–15 qualified meetings per week from day one
  • Own deals end-to-end, including discovery, follow-up, negotiation, and close
  • Collaborate with founders on pricing, positioning, and proposal strategy
  • Develop and manage relationships across assay execution (qPCR, ELISA) and lab automation buyers
  • Surface market intelligence, including customer pain points, competitive signals, and messaging feedback
  • Drive strategic introductions and partnership conversations
  • Complete at least 20 qualified meetings and form early pipeline by Day 30
  • Establish an active pipeline with $25K+ in qualified opportunities progressing toward close by Day 60
  • Reach closed revenue target by Day 90
