About The Position

The JM Family College Internship Program provides college students with meaningful work experiences related to their studies. Interns contribute to their teams, learn about JM Family’s companies and culture, and build skills through learning opportunities and networking events. The ideal candidate is available to work full-time during the Summer Internship Program, May 24, 2027–July 30, 2027.

As a Sales Planning Intern, you will support key Southeast Toyota business initiatives through reporting, analysis, and presentation development. The role offers hands-on experience, opportunities to strengthen business acumen and collaborate across the organization, and a chance to contribute to data-driven decision-making. Interns are introduced to JM Family’s core values: Consideration, Cooperation, Communication, Innovation, and Accountability.

Requirements

• Be actively enrolled in a degree-seeking program at an accredited college or university and have completed at least one semester of coursework.
• Have a focus in a relevant field, such as Business, Finance, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
• Have working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Be detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Be able to build cross-functional relationships, collaborate effectively, and work independently.
• Have an interest in the automotive industry and improving business processes.
• Be able to work flexible hours and be available to work full-time during the Summer Internship Program.

Responsibilities

• Update recurring reports and develop ad hoc analyses to support business needs and decision-making.
• Prepare clear, professional PowerPoint presentations for Southeast Toyota leadership and dealer meetings.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate reporting processes to improve team efficiency.
• Use company-approved AI tools, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI to support reporting, analysis, and presentation development.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across organizational levels to support departmental initiatives.
