About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise. The role supports customers on the sales floor by greeting and acknowledging them promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise carefully, and providing information, assistance, and direction. The position works under general supervision and established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and make recommendations about work procedures, policies, and practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Customer service and sales knowledge of non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise.
• GCA.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and help ensure a pleasant, productive shopping experience for every customer.
• Identify and evaluate customer needs and make product recommendations based on that analysis.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.
• Develop the ability to demonstrate products to customers.
• Organize and maintain non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise for sale at the gun counter.
• Replenish products on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
