About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise. The role supports customers shopping for floor merchandise by greeting and acknowledging them promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise carefully, and providing information, assistance, and direction.

The position contributes to a pleasant and productive shopping experience by identifying customers’ needs, recommending products, promoting available programs, and maintaining product knowledge. It also involves organizing, replenishing, and merchandising products, maintaining pricing and signage, assisting with seasonal merchandise moves, and keeping the work area clean and stocked. The employee performs duties under general supervision and follows company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Knowledge or ability in customer service and sales of non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise.
• GCA.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and support a productive shopping experience.
• Identify and evaluate customer needs and recommend products accordingly.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Organize and maintain non-firearms Hunting/Archery merchandise in the retail store.
• Replenish products on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing training.
• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
