About The Position

The Sales Outfitter provides counter sales and customer service for non-firearms Hunting and Archery merchandise, including merchandise on the sales floor. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by greeting customers promptly and courteously, handling merchandise carefully, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The Outfitter assists customers with buying decisions by identifying their needs and recommending products, and promotes programs such as CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.

The position also involves demonstrating products, organizing and replenishing merchandise, maintaining product knowledge, keeping current with advertised sales, pricing and signage, assisting with seasonal floor merchandise moves, and keeping the work area clean, neat, and stocked. The role performs other duties as assigned and follows company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Customer service and sales knowledge for non-firearms Hunting and Archery merchandise.
• GCA.
• Ability to merchandise and stock merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Provide counter sales and customer service for non-firearms Hunting and Archery merchandise.
• Support a pleasant, productive shopping experience and provide a legendary experience for every customer.
• Identify and evaluate customer needs and recommend products accordingly.
• Promote programs including CLUB membership, VOC, and in-store pickup.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Organize and maintain merchandise for sales at the non-firearms gun counter.
• Replenish products on shelves according to merchandising guidelines.
• Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
• Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
