About The Position

As a Sales Operations Manager, you’ll be part of our Nelson Stud Welding Commercial Sales team working as an on-site employee. This role involves managing various aspects of sales operations to support the commercial sales team and contribute to product launches and marketing activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree (Business or Engineering preferred) or equivalent experience supporting a sales organization
Experience with Marketing Automation Systems with a record of demonstrated achievement
Effective project management skills
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated solid analytical skills and problem-solving ability
Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business, including 300+ field sales team

Nice To Haves

Experience with technology platforms is ideal, such as Salesforce.com, ERP Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, CAD systems, and database management is a plus.

Responsibilities

Salesforce.com (CRM) management and reporting of leads, opportunities, and pipeline
Sales Incentive Plan tracking and reporting
Distribution inventory management (DRP setup, Warehouse Resupply process)
Market tracking and research
Pricing management, including margin analysis, pricing approvals, price book, and customer specific pricing.
Management and monitoring of order entry guidelines and policies
Assist with marketing activities, including sales promotions, sales campaigns, trade shows, membership in industry organizations, and website design.
Assist with product launches, program continuation, and design specific tasks.
Assist in quoting (cost, lead time, price) and automated system configuration and costing.
Create new part numbers, BOM, MRP data, and routing
Assist in the development of new applications
Participate in Engineering Change Notification (ECN) process and coordinate product testing and design.
