Zayo is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst Specialist to support the go-to-market organization, supporting territory and account analysis, CRM governance, GTM program execution, and strategic sales insights. This role partners closely with the broader Sales Ops team, Sales leadership, Sales Enablement, Marketing, Product, and other cross-functional teams to ensure accurate data, effective territory coverage, and operational support that enables revenue growth and sales execution. Our Sales Operations Analyst Specialist plays a key role in maintaining Salesforce processes and data integrity, supporting forecast and funnel reporting, enabling QBRs and account planning, and delivering actionable insights for sales leaders. This position also supports ongoing GTM programs, compensation validation, and ad-hoc analysis related to territories, accounts, and strategic sales initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with a business-related focus required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in sales operations, financial analysis, business operations, or a related analytical role preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM; experience with data management and reporting strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables; experience with reporting tools a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present data to various audiences.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • Telecom industry experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Territory, Account & Salesforce Operations Support territory analysis and account assignment to ensure balanced coverage and alignment with GTM strategy.
  • Manage Salesforce onboarding and offboarding processes for sales users and accounts.
  • Maintain CRM governance and data integrity across accounts, hierarchies, opportunities, and contacts.
  • Support account ownership changes, hierarchy updates, and account-related approvals.
  • CRM Governance & Data Integrity Verify and maintain data accuracy within Salesforce to support reliable reporting, forecasting, and GTM insights.
  • Support ongoing CRM data audits and data integrity initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales Operations leadership and IT on system enhancements and process improvements.
  • GTM Support Support execution of ongoing GTM programs and sales incentives, including progress tracking, performance monitoring, and gap analysis.
  • Assist with sales and churn compensation validation in partnership with the Sales Compensation Team.
  • Provide operational support for forecasting and funnel management.
  • Support Sales Operations with operational analysis and automation of sales workflows.
  • Act as a liaison for sales-related data and process questions, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Performance Reporting & Leadership Support forecast and funnel management for sales and churn reporting.
  • Deliver data and analysis to support QBRs, account planning, and 1LM / 2LM leadership reviews.
  • Provide strategic GTM engagement and deal insights to frontline and second-line managers, as well as QBHCs.
  • Respond to ad-hoc inquiries and reporting requests related to territories, accounts, pipeline, and GTM initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, Marketing, and IT to support Sales Operations processes and initiatives
