No two days are exactly the same, and that's what makes hotel sales both rewarding and exciting. One morning you may be welcoming a prospective client to the hotel, providing a personalized tour of the property, and discussing how your team can help make their event, meeting, or travel program successful. Later that day, you could be responding to RFPs, preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and following up with local businesses to secure new opportunities. You may spend part of your afternoon collaborating with the General Manager, Director of Sales, and hotel team to develop strategies that drive occupancy and revenue. Other days could involve attending networking events, participating in community organizations, hosting client appreciation events, or visiting local businesses to strengthen relationships and generate new leads. Living Hospitality means building genuine relationships, creating memorable experiences, and serving as a trusted partner for your clients. It means understanding that every interaction—whether with a guest, meeting planner, corporate traveler, sports team, or community partner—is an opportunity to showcase the hospitality and professionalism that sets our hotels apart. Success in this role requires a balance of relationship-building, strategic thinking, organization, and a passion for helping people. You'll celebrate wins, solve challenges, collaborate with hotel teams, and take pride in knowing that your efforts directly contribute to the success of the hotel and the experiences of our guests. If you are motivated by connecting with people, creating opportunities, and delivering exceptional service while driving results, a career as a Sales Manager with Newport Hospitality Group may be the perfect fit for you.
