About The Position

O'Brien Hyundai is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Sales Manager to lead from the front, drive results, and build a winning team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring active engagement on the showroom floor, coaching the sales team, assisting customers, structuring deals, managing inventory, and driving sales across new, used, and service-to-sales departments. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing people, maximizing profitability, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

Requirements

Previous automotive sales management experience or a proven senior sales professional ready to advance into leadership
Strong understanding of desking deals, inventory management, and dealership operations
Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
High level of accountability and attention to detail
Team-first attitude with a willingness to lead by example
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

Desk and structure deals while maximizing profitability
Coach and mentor sales consultants throughout the sales process
Support new and pre-owned vehicle sales
Monitor used vehicle inventory, pricing, and aging
Partner with the service department to identify and convert service-to-sales opportunities
Ensure CRM follow-up, appointments, and daily sales activities stay on track
Maintain accountability for dealership sales processes and customer satisfaction
Work closely with Finance, Sales, and Service departments to deliver a seamless customer experience
