About The Position

Zimbrick Eastside is looking to add another sales manager to the Hyundai team. This joint leadership is designed to grow the Hyundai new and pre-owned sales dept. The additional manager will share in accountability with the current Sales Manager for total sales performance, customer satisfaction and team development. You will help your team create the Outstanding Customer Service experience that Zimbrick is known for. The ideal candidate will have a passion for growing and developing an experienced sales team. Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them. Cultivate harmony and teamwork with all other departments.

  • Previous sales manager experience (2 years) is required
  • Ability to learn & understand our sales platforms ( CDK, eLead, Equity Mining, Vauto, OEM platforms)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • A hands-on approach to work with multiple sales people and multiple tasks
  • Excellent customer handling skills
  • The ability to grow both new and pre owned volume
  • A positive attitude, confidence, and the ability to build trust with all departments
  • The responsibility to co-manage in shared decision making and departmental duties
  • Intermediate level computer skills
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Wisconsin Sales License
  • A valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Must be 18 years or older

Responsibilities

  • Select, train, coach, develop and retain sales staff
  • Inspect and motivate staff's activities to achieve goals
  • Continue to grow an already successful and profitable new car department
  • Partner successfully with an experienced and effective F&I Manager
  • Manage inventory and sales processes effectively
  • Provide 3rd party advertisers with monthly specials
  • Sales Leadership – Co-lead the sales team, through consistent coaching, motivation, and individual sales growth to achieve volume expectations
  • Customer Experience – Maintain a seamless, transparent buying process aligned with Hyundai and Zimbrick standards
  • Team Development – Recruit, set clear expectations and work with sales consultants to continue to grow their skillset
  • Performance Management – Conduct one on one coaching, ensure all Hyundai brand metrics are being met, exceed manufacturer CSI requirements
  • Inventory Strategy – Work to maintain proper inventory model mix, pricing strategy and aging inventory levels for both new & pre-owned
