About The Position

CO-Energy, a leading provider of fuels, lubricants, and related products and services for agriculture, commercial, and government customers for 39 years, is seeking a Sales Manager for its corporate office in Pasco. The Sales Manager will lead and develop a team of 15-20 sales professionals, focusing on meeting and exceeding the expectations of both existing and new customers. This role involves managing, training, and developing the sales team to excel in servicing existing customers, cultivating new relationships, expanding sales territories, and achieving personal and company sales goals.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) or more years of successful professional sales experience.
  • Four (4) or more years of management experience leading sales professionals.
  • Business to Business sales experience.
  • Demonstrated record of success in meeting sales goals.
  • Demonstrated record of success in client/customer success and satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated record of success in resolving customer complaints.
  • Ability to learn, understand all aspects of products/services sold.
  • Possess a valid driver license with an excellent driving record to meet insurability standards for operating company-owned vehicles.

  • Previous sales experience in the fuel, oil, and/or lubricants industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, train, and professionally develop 15-20 sales professionals.
  • Ensure sales team success in servicing and supporting existing customer relationships.
  • Guide sales team in cultivating and expanding new customer relationships.
  • Drive sales team efforts to increase sales in their respective territories.
  • Ensure sales team meets personal and company sales and performance goals.
  • Travel regularly to meet with sales team members (25% of the time) using a company-provided vehicle.
  • Maintain professional, positive relationships with current suppliers and vendors.
  • Cultivate and develop new relationships with potential suppliers and vendors.
  • Develop sales plans with the sales team for capturing and securing new customers/business.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts.
  • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment.
  • Plan sales and training meetings.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws governing a safe work environment.
  • Report unsafe acts and conditions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure uninterrupted operations and customer service, including additional hours and shifts.
