About The Position

Postmedia is seeking a tech-forward, high-energy Sales Manager to build, lead, and scale a newly formed team of Associate Account Executives. This team is hyper-focused on small and mid-market Canadian communities, the cities and towns where local businesses form the backbone of the economy. Your team will protect and grow these communities by connecting local business owners to Postmedia’s full suite of cutting-edge digital marketing solutions. Your mission is to act as head coach: taking hungry, rising sales talent and turning them into elite digital consultants who are deeply passionate about helping local economies thrive. This role offers the power of local trust, advanced enablement stack with AI software for coaching, and 100% remote autonomy.

Requirements

  • Experience managing or leading B2B sales professionals, with a demonstrable history of driving net-new customer acquisition.
  • Embrace AI, CRM architecture (HubSpot), and sales intelligence tools.
  • Strong grasp of the digital media landscape and can comfortably jump into virtual proposals to help an Associate AE close a complex deal.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary growth engine for a new team of Associate AEs.
  • Use AI-driven call insights and pipeline metrics to run elite coaching sessions, sharpening their virtual pitching, prospecting, and closing skills.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to small to mid-market communities, helping your team uncover untapped opportunities and win new business.
  • Help your team translate the full digital marketing funnel (SEO, SEM, Programmatic, Social, Display, Websites, Listings, Classifieds) into simple, high-ROI growth solutions for local business owners.
  • Maintain a high-energy, accountable, and collaborative culture centered around a shared mission: keeping local advertising dollars recirculating within Canadian communities.
  • Recruit and onboard a continuous pipeline of digital-first hunters, running a structured, simulation-based training process to get them hitting quota fast.
