Our full-stack auto retail business serves EV buyers and sellers nationwide, both online and offline. Based in San Francisco and expanding nationally, we are backed by leading investors and a team of experienced professionals from top tech and automotive companies. Following our recent Series A financing, we have secured $100M in total funding and are seeking exceptional talent to join our mission. This role requires an individual capable of managing a high-volume sales pipeline with precision, urgency, and accountability. Ever aims to provide the most transparent and customer-friendly way to buy an electric vehicle, featuring no hidden fees, no negotiation, and a streamlined online-first buying experience. The Sales Manager will lead the sales team, overseeing execution across the entire customer funnel.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in Sales Management experience preferred
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume sales pipeline

Responsibilities

  • Own retail deal volume targets for the San Diego market.
  • Hold EV Sales Consultants accountable to closing ratios, front-end margin per unit, and customer experience scores.
  • Drive a consistent sales process from lead to delivery, monitoring pipeline health, stage-by-stage conversion, and days-to-close.
  • Review deals in progress and post-close for margin integrity, proper structure, and adherence to process, coaching consultants on unit economics and objection handling.
  • Identify and address breakdowns in the sales funnel.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Operations to advance deals and resolve blockers impacting delivery timelines.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of EV fundamentals and Ever's inventory, financing/protection products, and coach the team to provide expert, customer-friendly guidance.
  • Use customer interaction reviews, call recordings, and CRM data to coach consultants on closing, customer follow-up, and process adherence.
  • Conduct regular information sharing sessions, deal reviews, and skill sessions on discovery, objection handling, and EV education.
  • Oversee inbound and outbound pipeline, holding the Customer Experience team accountable to contact rate, appointment set rate, and show rate.
  • Enforce and maintain fast response times and consistent follow-up.
  • Ensure lead routing, CRM data integrity, and scripting are up to date and consistently applied.
  • Partner with pricing and inventory functions to align lead flow and vehicle positioning with CX team capacity and conversion performance.
