About The Position
John F. Martin & Sons, LLC is hiring a Sales Manager to lead its sales team from its Newmanstown, Pennsylvania location. This salaried leadership role will guide sales strategy, strengthen customer partnerships, and support the company’s continued growth. The Sales Manager will develop strategies to grow existing accounts and reach new markets, lead and develop the sales team, and coordinate with internal departments to align customer needs with company priorities.

Responsibilities
- Develop sales and marketing strategies to expand existing accounts and reach new markets.
- Lead and develop the sales team through goal setting, coaching, training, and performance management.
- Partner with Human Resources on hiring and employee development.
- Build customer relationships and support sales representatives in negotiating and closing business.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance to identify opportunities and adjust strategies.
- Collaborate on product development, pricing, packaging, advertising, and promotional activities.
- Manage budgets, sales forecasts, territories, and quotas to support profitable growth.
- Work with operations and other departments to align customer needs with company priorities.
