About The Position

We are looking for a Sales Manager to add to our amazing Capital Region team! This role serves as part of the market leadership team, ensuring alignment to organizational goals and direction, as well as providing best operational results. The Sales Manager will develop annual sales goals for the sales team and develop/maintain a yearly budget. They will provide training on products, processes, and methodologies to new sales consultants, including role-playing and sales ride-along visits. This role manages in-home sales representatives and sales support staff, including coaching, development, and conducting performance reviews. The Sales Manager will review sales activity with team members, provide coaching and ongoing training as needed, and track sales metrics, monitor daily results, and provide communication/clarity around the sales process system. Additionally, the Sales Manager will conduct sales meetings and hold sales contests, establish an environment where all customers and employees are treated with dignity and respect by modeling core behaviors, and work with the marketing team to maximize leads and appointment rates. This role also manages coverage of showroom business hours, cleanliness of premises and displays, and proper lead management practices.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable accident and moving violation motor vehicle record
  • Minimum of four years of proven sales management experience; in-home sales experience a plus
  • Planning and goal setting skills
