About The Position

We are looking for a Sales Manager – Betting & Odds to help grow GRID's official data-powered esports odds business with betting operators around the world. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging and winning new operator customers for GRID's esports betting solutions. You will work with sportsbook operators, betting platforms and other relevant industry players to understand their needs and demonstrate how GRID's official esports data and odds can improve their betting offering. We are looking for someone with genuine experience in betting and odds sales. This is a hands-on sales role. You will own opportunities from prospecting and initial outreach through discovery, presentations, commercial negotiations and closing. You will work closely with our product, trading and commercial teams to ensure we deliver the right solution and build strong, long-term customer relationships. Beyond odds, GRID also offers data visualization, streaming, and trading solutions that can complement our betting proposition. As you develop relationships with customers, you will have the opportunity to introduce these products where they add value.

Requirements

• Proven B2B sales experience within sports betting, betting technology, odds, trading, data or a closely related field.
• Direct experience selling odds or betting-related products to betting operators.
• A good understanding of how sportsbook operators work and how odds and betting data fit into their offering.
• A track record of identifying and developing new business opportunities and converting them into customers.
• Strong commercial instincts and the ability to understand customer needs and translate them into a compelling proposition.
• Confident communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels of an organisation.
• A proactive, self-starting approach and the ability to manage your own pipeline and sales activity.
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-moving, international environment with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• An interest in esports and curiosity about how betting on esports is evolving.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and relevant industry events when required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities with betting operators and sportsbook businesses.
• Build and manage a pipeline of prospective customers across relevant betting markets.
• Lead sales conversations, from initial outreach and discovery through product demonstrations, proposals, negotiation and closing.
• Meet and exceed agreed sales targets and take ownership of delivering against your commercial goals.
• Understand customer requirements and work with internal teams to develop the right commercial and product solution.
• Build strong relationships with decision-makers across sportsbook, trading, product and commercial teams.
• Identify opportunities to expand customer relationships with GRID's data visualisation and streaming products.
• Represent GRID at relevant industry events, conferences and customer meetings.
• Keep up to date with developments in sports betting, odds, sportsbook technology and the evolving esports betting market.
