About The Position

The Sales Lot Attendant maintains the dealership’s vehicle inventory and keeps the lot in condition to showcase vehicles. The role involves tracking, managing, and photographing vehicles; maintaining digital records; checking inventory and vehicle information; resolving discrepancies; distributing materials; supporting lot safety and security; cleaning vehicles; and coordinating vehicle transportation. The attendant may also take on additional tasks as needed. The position requires computer proficiency, the ability to read and prepare documents, and strong interpersonal communication. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to lift up to 30 pounds, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, be at least 21 years old, drive both manual and automatic vehicles, and pass a physical examination and drug test.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and maintain the energy and agility needed for the role.
Proficiency using computer systems.
Ability to read and prepare documents.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
Ability to pass a physical examination and drug test.

Responsibilities

Track, manage, and photograph the vehicle inventory.
Maintain accurate digital records.
Conduct regular lot patrols to check inventory accuracy and confirm vehicles have the correct information displayed.
Identify and correct inventory discrepancies.
Distribute materials efficiently.
Help ensure the parking lot is safe and secure and proactively address safety concerns.
Clean vehicles to improve their appearance.
Coordinate and transport vehicles.
Take on additional tasks as needed.
