About The Position

The Sales Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for creating, curating, sharing, and maintaining impactful training content for Retail Sales Associates, serving as a primary resource for other functions within Whirlpool Canada. This role focuses on maximizing sales, generating revenue, and increasing brand loyalty through the delivery of exceptional training programs to Whirlpool's trade partners, key influencers, and internal partners.

Requirements

  • College or University degree required
  • Bilingual in French & English

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive product training to Whirlpool's appliance trade partners, internal partners, and key influencers to increase product features and consumer benefits awareness.
  • Create engaging and timely training content using a variety of software and tools, ensuring all information reflects current market environments and brand launch initiatives.
  • Lead, facilitate, and participate in various product training events, innovative demonstrations, and "training experiences" both online and in person to maximize audience engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Interface and collaborate with internal stakeholders—including Product Managers, Account Managers, National Account Managers, Brand Managers, and Category Managers—to become a product expert and support strategic product launches.
  • Deliver post-training take-aways and distribute surveys to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and track participant progress.
