About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is a retail platform operating the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style. The Sales Leader drives operations on the sales floor and in the stockroom, assists with associate training, and helps deliver excellent in-store shopping experiences. The position is at the Crossgates store.

The Sales Leader supports store management in developing associates, improving sales, and executing daily operations. The role includes coaching and training associates, maintaining appropriate floor coverage and stockroom operations, supporting merchandise flow and omnichannel activities, resolving customer-service issues, and upholding product, policy, visual-presentation, and operational standards. The position requires meeting defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours, as well as meeting physical requirements.

The posted pay range is $17.00–$23.40 per hour. Actual compensation depends on factors including work location, education, relevant skills, and experience. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience.
• Proficiency with technology, including iPads and registers.
• Meet defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Meet physical requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, peers, and supervisors.
• Demonstrated sales accountability.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well with a team.
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple customers and/or processes at once.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and motivating associates to maximize sales potential.
• Provide in-the-moment coaching and training to support effective floor operations, customer service, coverage, stockroom management, and execution of standards.
• Partner with Store Management to provide feedback on associate performance.
• Train associates on store operations, products, policies, and procedures.
• Execute action plans that optimize results.
• Execute all aspects of daily store operations.
• Ensure appropriate associate coverage to create a great customer experience.
• Oversee and authorize the checkout experience.
• Assist with merchandise flow, including shipment, replenishment, and omnichannel operations.
• Monitor and analyze customer service provided by team members.
• Build an effective schedule by placing the right associate in the right place at the right time.
• Promote and support an environment focused on great in-store customer experiences.
• Resolve customer-service issues to a positive outcome.
• Lead and model the customer experience model.
• Maintain expert knowledge of products, company policies, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Provide leadership and assistance with product launches, window changes, visual presentation standards, and signage placement.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by the supervisor.
