AWS is seeking a Sales Leader in the Global Financial Service Industry Vertical. We are seeking a candidate to develop and grow a team of strategic sellers that drive significant impact for our customers globally. The leader will hire and develop, manage, and lead a seasoned team, to execute on this strategy, resulting in deeper relationships, joint go-to-market initiatives, and even broader utilization of Amazon Web Services in a multinational customer base. This leader will be responsible for all aspects of the team, including ensuring customer satisfaction, revenue achievement, driving the growth strategy, and nurturing the executive relationships with both AWS and the customers. This role will manage the goals, objectives, and performance of the team. The leader will have good executive presence and have previously managed senior Account Managers on complex accounts. We are looking for a creative and motivational leader with a customer obsessed approach. This individual will need to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, technical teams, business development and partner teams, be results driven with experience in sales, channel, or business development in infrastructure or cloud services. The successful candidate must have demonstrated leadership qualities, and will draw upon experience in sales, relationship building, and both direct and matrix operating structures. The individual must have deep experience in supporting a constantly evolving sales team, being the local presence of the business, and delivering against targets.
