About The Position
Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an energetic, sales-minded Sales Lead to manage their mall kiosk. This role is for someone who loves spreading cake joy, is passionate about sales, and enjoys creating a positive brand experience. The Sales Lead will represent the brand, manage kiosk operations, engage customers, and drive sales through proactive engagement and upselling. This is an active role requiring individuals to be on their feet, interact with customers, educate them about products, and maintain the kiosk's appearance. The position also involves transporting cakes and supplies, working independently and as part of a team, problem-solving, and remaining calm under pressure. The ideal candidate is comfortable initiating conversations and thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Requirements
- Sales-savvy with real experience (crushed quotas, rocked retail, or thrived in a bonus-driven environment).
- Driven and motivated to win.
- Energetic and outgoing personality.
- Ability to make conversation with anyone.
- Independent and resourceful.
- Ability to run the kiosk solo and solve problems on the fly.
- Team-oriented and able to collaborate well.
- Reliable and responsible.
- Comfortable lifting and setting up kiosk/event supplies (tables, signage, product boxes, etc.).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and peak mall hours.
- Flexible shifts.
- Weekend and evening availability required.
- Additional hours during holidays and peak seasons.

Responsibilities
- Representing the brand as a cake-selling superstar.
- Keeping track of kiosk happenings during shifts, including traffic flow, mall events, customer trends, and opportunities.
- Bringing big energy and a sales-driven approach to every conversation, including wedding orders, corporate gifting, birthday club signups, and fundraising partnerships.
- Proactively initiating conversations, engaging customers, and creating excitement to drive sales.
- Standing, walking, moving, and being active throughout the shift.
- Selling cake, distributing samples, and promotional materials.
- Creating a positive and memorable brand experience.
- Educating customers about Nothing Bundt Cakes products, flavors, seasonal offerings, and special promotions.
- Setting up displays, tables, and kiosk supplies.
- Transporting cakes and supplies as needed.
- Working independently and as part of a team.
- Developing solutions autonomously when kiosk challenges arise.
- Staying calm under pressure and thriving during high-volume days.
- Initiating conversations with anyone to draw people in.
