About The Position

Event Network is hiring a part-time Sales Lead for its retail store in the historic Reynolds Center, home to the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the National Portrait Gallery. The store offers art-inspired gifts, books, and collectibles. The Sales Lead works alongside the management team and helps create memorable shopping experiences for visitors in a fun, dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Prior experience as a keyholder or in a supervisory role.
• Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to engage guests of all ages.
• Proactive approach to showcasing products.
• Comfortable working a flexible schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand and walk frequently, and occasionally reach, climb, kneel, or crouch.
• Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and provide exceptional guest service.
• Engage with guests in a lively, welcoming, and entertaining manner.
• Support store operations, including handling cash and managing inventory.
• Help ensure store operations run smoothly for fellow team members.
• Organize and present products through merchandising.
