About The Position

The Sales Lead creates an engaging environment for associates and customers and partners with the Store Manager to execute daily action plans. The role helps maintain smooth store operations, an attractive store environment, and a team of trained, motivated associates. The Sales Lead may step into the Manager role when needed and guides the team with support from store leaders. The position is based at the Waterford Park Lane Bryant store in Clarksville, Indiana, and is regular, part-time work.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Passion for styling and enjoyment of working with people.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Proficiency with technology, including accurately operating store systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, understand their needs, and support their shopping experiences.
• Share knowledge of products and services to help customers find outfits and feel inspired.
• Use the company selling model to help teams exceed customer expectations.
• Help store leaders execute daily operational action plans.
• Motivate and coach associates to recognize and improve performance.
• Identify business opportunities in partnership with store leaders to drive results.
• Assess daily schedules to maximize productivity and equalize payroll.
• Share daily communications with store teams and prioritize tasks as needed.
• Support store leadership with onboarding new associates when needed.
• Follow brand guidelines, operational requirements, and asset protection policies.
• Step into the Manager role when needed.
