About The Position

The Sales Intern participates in Aerotek’s 10-week paid Ascend internship program, learning the Recruiting, Account Management, and Field Support phases of a local operation, with a heavy emphasis on sales. The role involves interacting with Aerotek employees, candidates, contractors, and clients and requires strong business acumen. Successful completion of the program could potentially lead to a full-time job offer in Aerotek’s Sales Development Representative program.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university and seeking a BA/BS degree.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Customer service experience.
• Sales-related experience.

Nice To Haves

• A sales degree, minor, or certificate is preferred.
• Transitioning between junior and senior years of college is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post available positions online through Aerotek’s candidate tracking system, Connected, to increase the candidate pool.
• Evaluate resumes and select qualified candidates to enter the interview process.
• Schedule candidate interviews with Recruiters.
• Shadow Recruiters during calls, interviews, and reference checks.
• Maintain documentation in Aerotek’s Applicant Tracking System.
• Attend contractor lunches with Recruiters.
• Shadow Account Managers on cold calls and client visits.
• Shadow Account Managers through client acquisition and requisition qualification processes.
• Attend networking events.
• Participate in lead generation and shadow cold-calling sessions.
• Shadow Field Support during background investigations and drug testing processes.
• Shadow Field Support during the unemployment process, including claims and hearings.
