2027 Summer Internship Program: Sales
About The Position
Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking a motivated student for its 2027 Summer Internship Program in Sales. The internship provides hands-on experience across teams and functional departments, including client service, risk management, operations, sales, and business analytics. Interns work on projects addressing real-world business problems and receive mentorship, training, resources, and professional development. The position is in person Monday through Friday in Beaverton, Oregon; Boise, Idaho; or Spokane, Washington. Relocation expenses are not offered. The hourly wage is $18.85, and the position may also be eligible for performance-based incentives.
Requirements
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above at the time of application and start date; all academic grades are considered.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Strong desire to learn and pursue professional development.
- Thorough, detail-oriented, and highly organized approach to work.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a helpful, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to meet deadlines and produce accurate, complete work.

Responsibilities
- Partner with teams on creative and diverse projects that further develop and fulfill the agency’s brand.
- Collaborate across functions to support the mission and vision of the department assigned.
- Provide support to directors, sales executives, and client relations staff to enhance new business and retention opportunities.
- Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and build a professional network with managers, mentors, and other interns.
- Participate in national and regional classes introducing the intern to the industry and organization.
- Build industry relationships by meeting with industry partners.
- Follow organizational policies and procedures, sales and service standards, and established workflows.
- Ensure quality control through proper file documentation and maintenance.
- Maintain confidentiality.
