About The Position

SouthernCarlson is hiring Sales Interns for an 8-week summer internship running June 7 through July 30, 2026. The internship is offered in Dallas or Houston, Texas; Charlotte, North Carolina; Fort Lauderdale or Tampa, Florida; and Atlanta, Georgia. Compensation is $25 per hour plus a $4,000 living stipend. The first week is spent in the warehouse learning about products. Weeks 2–4 are spent working as a Branch Associate and providing Inside Sales Support. Weeks 4–8 include riding along with Outside Sales Representatives and working as a Branch Associate. In-person interviews will be held on campus on December 3, 2026. An offer is contingent upon a satisfactory background check and drug screen. SouthernCarlson is a national distributor of construction, fastening, industrial, and construction supplies. Responsibilities

Work with a manager or sales associate to complete assigned tasks.
Attend meetings and events to observe and learn.
Update sales records and documents accurately.
Observe how to close deals in the sales process.
Communicate with vendors and clients at a manager’s request.
Conduct research and collate survey data.
Assess whether sales targets are met.
Take notes on what is learned on the job.
Spend the first week in the warehouse learning about products.
Work as a Branch Associate and provide Inside Sales Support during weeks 2–4.
Ride along with Outside Sales Representatives and work as a Branch Associate during weeks 4–8.
