About The Position

The Sales Floor Team Member provides a positive and efficient customer experience in an assigned area or zone. The role focuses on customer service, maintaining sales-floor merchandise and presentation, supporting price changes and nightly department recovery, and assisting with register coverage when needed. Team members also help with merchandise resets, visual displays, housekeeping, freight flow, and promotion of Fleet Farm loyalty initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers and provide Best in Class service.
• Keep endcaps, side merchandise, and sale items full and in stock.
• Maintain customer-readiness standards by keeping the sales floor, shelves, rail tops, displays, and kick plates clean.
• Assist with in-store regular-price, clearance, and sale-price changes.
• Complete nightly department recovery, including fronting and facing shelves, sweeping and cleaning, and filling critical products.
• Train on cash register functionality and promptly assist at a register when customer demand requires it.
• Assist with merchandise resets, visual display maintenance, housekeeping, and coordination of freight flow to ensure merchandise is represented on the sales floor.
• Explain the advantages of the Fleet Rewards credit card and Loyalty Program and encourage customers to apply.
• Promote the customer loyalty program, credit card, and other company initiatives.
