About The Position

Saskatoon Co-op is seeking a full-time Sales Floor Supervisor for their Greystone Home location. This role reports to the Hardware Manager and is responsible for overseeing sales floor operations, customer service, and team member supervision. The ideal candidate will be service-oriented, motivated, well-organized, and possess strong leadership skills. A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.

Requirements

• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Service-oriented, motivated, and capable of serving customers courteously and efficiently.
• Well-organized and capable of high production with minimum supervision.
• Thorough working knowledge of the Retail Controller POS System and ability to train new cashiers.
• Ability to supervise, direct, and mentor sales floor team members.
• Proven knowledge of hardware and related products.
• Ability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, professional approach and attitude.
• Be dependable for all scheduled shifts.
• Provide excellent customer service by building trusted relationships through knowledge, guidance, and support to promote sales and meet customer needs.
• Train, supervise, and direct team members in the operation of the sales floor and retail systems.
• Develop weekly schedules and assign work tasks for Home Centre Clerks with Hardware Manager approval.
• Responsible for opening, closing, and accurate cash handling according to company policies.
• Assist in processing customer returns.
• Provide timely operational information to the Hardware Manager.
• Provide feedback for team member performance reviews.
• Ensure a clean, neat, and well-merchandised Home Centre.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Hardware Manager to ensure onboarding of new team members is completed.
• Assist in leading operational meetings with Home Centre Clerks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
