9-5 Sales Floor/Cashier
About The Position
The Sales Floor/Cashier is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and follows established procedures for cashiering, merchandising, merchandise processing, store recovery, safety, and shrink reduction. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Role model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support and embody a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns, and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Maintain and uphold the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Accurately process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintenance and cleanliness of the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
