Sales Floor/Cashier - Part Time
About The Position
The Sales Floor/Cashier is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging with customers and maintaining a clean, organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards and may include cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position supports positive store culture and customer service practices, processes purchases and returns accurately, promotes credit and loyalty programs, prepares merchandise for the sales floor, and helps maintain store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction standards. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
