Joining us now is a chance to be part of our transformation. Reporting to the RVP of Sales, we are hiring a Sales Executive to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of the full sales cycle and drive revenue by selling our managed services and self-serve solutions. You will seek out, connect with and secure prospects, following leads to close deals. You will focus on selling solutions, acquiring new clients, expanding relationships with existing ones, and collaborating with agencies and brands to build strategic partnerships that align with their business goals and deliver measurable results. This existing vacancy supports clients across Ontario and offers flexibility based on your location. If you reside in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), the position will be hybrid, with three days per week in our office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The role will be fully remote if you are outside the GTA.

Requirements

  • Results-driven and motivated to exceed sales targets.
  • Proactive hunter passionate about seeking new opportunities and building relationships; can identify client needs and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas in digital advertising sales, successfully managing sales cycles, and driving revenue with clients from small businesses to large organizations.
  • Experience in programmatic sales is essential.
  • Familiar with the digital media landscape.
  • Proficient with CRM tools.
  • Comfortable using MS Office.
  • Can grasp complex technical details and translate them into valuable, easily understood client insights.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Naturally curious and can channel inquisitiveness into asking probing questions that build connections, uncover true motivations, and lead to long-term relationships.
  • Can create compelling pitch decks, conduct research to support business development and make engaging presentations.
  • Can work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Highly coachable and committed to personal growth, always looking for ways to improve and learn.
  • Can balance multiple deals at different stages while maintaining attention to detail, always prioritizing the customer's objectives.
  • Can travel to client sites as needed.

  • Experience in programmatic sales from various industries, including publishers, traditional media, or digital advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end sales cycle. You will manage the entire sales process, including identifying, pitching, and closing deals with agencies and brands.
  • Sell illumin’s powerful SaaS platform alongside our media offerings, presenting both managed services and self-serve solutions to meet diverse client needs.
  • Develop new business to meet sales quotas, targeting potential prospects and leveraging qualified leads from our pre-sales team.
  • Build, own, and expand a book of business, focusing on acquiring new clients and nurturing existing relationships across various industries.
  • Work closely with our Account Managers and Product and Campaign Management teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and campaign execution.
  • Use your knowledge of the ad tech ecosystem to provide prospects and clients with strategic insights and innovative solutions that enhance their digital strategies.
