1. Perform all activities regarding marketing and sales of MEC (USA)’s import/export/customs house brokerage services in a designated geographical location. 2. Generate new business and service existing accounts by target planning, conducting, reviewing and reporting personal sales performance. 3. Provide input and implement sales and marketing strategies. 4. Work closely with Operations to ensure proper handling of customers’ freight and documentation. 5. Promptly respond as directed to customer RFQs and similar proposals made public by recurrent, new, and potential customers. 6. Work closely with accounting to ensure all account receivables and account payables are properly credited, billed and paid. 7. Help generate and productively use up-to-date records on tariff/contract rates on available carriers (airlines, ocean, inland/interstate trucking, etc.). 8. Provide weekly department sales productivity report and service irregularity reports. 9. Perform other duties as assigned by District Manager.
