About The Position

Rubrik’s Sales Engineering Intern will participate in a 12-week summer program in Austin, Texas, from June 1 through August 20, 2027. The internship provides hands-on experience with technical sales and the work of Sales Engineers (SEs), including learning how to connect Rubrik’s value to customers’ business challenges and help shape technical capabilities that support a deal. The program progresses through three phases: Foundations (weeks 1–4), covering tech sales fundamentals, presentation skills, 365 skills, and shadowing SEs on live calls; an AI Project (weeks 5–7), involving planning, building, and internally presenting a project; and Show What You Know (weeks 8–12), with Professional Services and Support shadowing, live role plays, and a capstone showcase. Weekly activities include a Monday team meeting, a 1:1 with a mentor and SE director, and open-ended shadowing when calls or proofs of concept are underway. The Week 12 showcase includes a customer-ready demo or presentation for SE leadership and a presentation of the AI project, its problem, solution, and impact. Interns receive mentorship and guidance, professional development, networking and social events, and opportunities to volunteer. The role focuses on discovering prospects’ business needs, building technical champions, learning campaign execution strategies, and collaborating with sales and specialist teams.
