About The Position

As a Sales Engineer, you will report to the Head of Sales Engineering and be responsible for all aspects of application and sales duties for assigned customer accounts. This includes interfacing with various individuals at customer locations and MAHLE worldwide plants, ensuring key employees have relationships with their counterparts at the customer, developing a customer strategy to identify new opportunities and position the company to win new business, and acting as the focal point for all commercial discussions and negotiations.

Requirements

  • Automotive industry experience.
  • Experience managing customer accounts or projects.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects.
  • Willingness to travel 10-20%.

Responsibilities

  • Manage customer accounts and act as the main commercial contact.
  • Coordinate product development projects from design phase to production.
  • Prepare quotations, RFQs, pricing proposals, and technical presentations.
  • Track purchase orders, prototype requests, and commercial activities.
  • Interface with global teams and customer stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends and provide strategic input to management.
