About The Position

The Sales Engineer I will drive sales deliverables, handle administration and internal communication, and provide education for internal teams, resellers, and distribution. This role requires continuous skill development and involves providing presentations of company solutions, conducting 'proof of value' and 'proof of concepts' assessments, assisting in deeper qualification of customer requirements, and contributing to opportunity responses in the CRM. The Sales Engineer I will provide active signposting, contribute to the technical success of a customer's life-cycle, and record/track customer activity via CRM, providing technical feedback. They will also complement resources from Enablement teams, assist Sales teams with channel enablement beyond basic demonstrations, and stay updated on industry knowledge from a technical perspective. Additionally, this role involves developing and maintaining testing programs/demonstration environments, planning and coordinating the work of colleagues, performing conceptual, systemic, creative, and methodical activities, and carrying out other work as instructed by a managing employee. This position is open to candidates across NORAM. For those based in San Diego, the role will be hybrid; for all other locations, it will be fully remote. The salary range for this position is $105-132K OTE.

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience
  • CompTIA Network+ Or equivalent
  • CompTIA A+ Or equivalent
  • 5 Years of work experience
  • Ability to assess the security posture of an enterprise environment and recommend and implement appropriate security solutions; monitor and secure hybrid environments, including cloud, mobile, and IoT; operate with an awareness of applicable laws and policies, including principles of governance, risk, and compliance; identify, analyze, and respond to security events and incidents.
  • Understands (Intermediate admin) Operating system configuration (Windows, Mac, Linux).
  • Can establish network connectivity, monitor activity, carry out hardening, configure and troubleshoot infrastructure.
  • Understands Virtual Machine usage.

Responsibilities

  • Provide presentation of company solutions (MDR bundle: Endpoint, Encryption, MFA, ECOS, LiveSense, EDR, MDR).
  • Conduct 'proof of value' and 'proof of concepts' assessments for customers.
  • Assist in deeper qualification of customer requirements and contribute to opportunity responses in the CRM.
  • Provide active signposting and contribute to technical success of a customer's life-cycle.
  • Record and track activity with customer via CRM and provide technical feedback.
  • Complement resources provided by Enablement teams and assist Sales teams with enablement of the channel beyond basic demonstrations in person or remotely.
  • Keep up to date with industry knowledge and news from a technical perspective.
  • Develop and maintain testing programs/demonstration environments for company solutions.
  • Plan and coordinate the work of colleagues in accordance with superior's instructions, be responsible for the performance of the tasks entrusted to it in accordance with established procedures and processes and prioritize tasks of colleagues in order to meet established objectives and achieve required results.
  • Perform conceptual, systemic, creative and methodical activities.
  • Carry out other work according to the instructions of a managing employee in accordance with the activity of the department and the company.
