About the position
Join one of the world's fastest growing fintech startups as a Sales Engineer on the Provider team. In this role, you will play a critical part in helping businesses understand and benefit from our products, ultimately increasing our level of partnership. You will work closely with the Sales and Operations teams, engaging prospects in a consultative sales process, conducting product demos, and ensuring customer success. With 5+ years of customer-facing experience in an SaaS environment, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology, you will contribute to the company's mission of simplifying bill payments and improving consumer financial health.
Responsibilities
- Consultative Selling: Engage prospects in a consultative sales process to address their needs and challenges, making it easy to understand and achievable for non-technical buyers.
- Discovery: Work closely with prospects to gain a deep understanding of their technical capabilities and business processes, and propose how to best leverage them.
- Opportunity evaluation: Ensure that the solution meets the client's needs and be involved in presenting the value and ROI, while translating basic technical concepts to prospects.
- Demos of product: Prepare and present tailored customer demonstrations to achieve customer wins.
- Product Knowledge: Work closely with Engineering and Product teams to maintain a deep understanding of doxo's products and core technology.
- Market Feedback: Continuously gather product and market feedback to guide new products.
- Customer Success: Streamline knowledge transfer from the sales process through the implementation phase.
Requirements
- 5+ years of customer-facing experience as a senior level Sales Engineer or Solutions Architect in an SaaS environment supporting both large and small business customers
- Experience with systems related to payments and/or billing
- Ability to demo to win and quickly communicate ideas around a business case
- Clear explanation of integration concepts to both non-technical buyers and IT implementers
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with keen attention to detail
- Passion for technology and love for working in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and strong presentation skills
