About The Position

The SALES DIRECTOR is an individual contributor role with the sole focus of creating and closing sales opportunities for all product solutions. Solutions: Fully automated storage solutions including pallet shuttles and ancillary systems such as conveyors and lifts. Customers: End users are located throughout the United States and Canada. We work with many of the leading integrators as our Sales partners. Typical project size: 1-30M As our SALES DIRECTOR, you… are responsible for the complete chain of sales activities (incl. proposals, calculations, and offers - with the help of our sales engineering team) initiate sales opportunities with warehouse automation integrators on behalf of end customers find new integrators to partner with participate in trade shows (Modex/Promat, and industry-specific ones) lead and coordinate focused marketing efforts such as writing blog posts and speaking opportunities at trade shows provide monthly and yearly forecasts and reports support on the sidelines of sold projects; e.g., change orders

Requirements

  • several years of sales experience in the material handling industry; ideally for a manufacturer selling to integrators or selling as the integrator to the end customer
  • hunter and farmer mindset
  • must live in vicinity to a major airport
  • willing to travel around 50% throughout the US and Canada; plus occasionally to training events or reference site visits in Europe
  • we work closely with our European colleagues. The morning hours are the most important so we can connect with them while our business hours overlap across time zones. Early birds get the worm! Our regular business hours are 8-5 CST.

Responsibilities
