Sales Director - Field Sales

Flow Engineering•Los Angeles, CA
•$250,000 - $325,000

About The Position

Flow Engineering is hiring a Director of Sales to build and lead its sales team as the company scales its go-to-market efforts. The role is a player-coach position: personally closing the largest and most complex deals while recruiting, mentoring, and developing Account Executives who sell to major engineering-led organizations building complex hardware and software systems. The role will help define Flow’s sales approach, establish the team’s standards, and shape the company’s commercial trajectory. The Director of Sales will hire and onboard Account Executives, coach them through deals and calls, lead strategic opportunities, and own targets, forecasting, pipeline management, and team accountability. The role will manage complex enterprise sales across technical, executive, and procurement stakeholders, including long sales cycles and multi-year contracts, and develop land-and-expand motions for named enterprise accounts in engineering, hardware, and aerospace/defense. The position also partners with Engineering and company leadership on customer feedback, product roadmap, positioning, pricing, territory design, and go-to-market strategy, and represents Flow at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings. Travel of 30–50% is expected.
