About The Position

Blueprint is seeking a Sales Director to lead its commercial relationship with Microsoft. This is a senior, hands-on growth role responsible for building durable relationships across a complex global account, translating business and technology priorities into qualified opportunities, and mobilizing Blueprint teams to win and expand work. The role owns Microsoft account strategy across relevant organizations, buying groups, and partner channels, including growth planning, executive sponsorship, procurement and vendor navigation, opportunity portfolio management, and engagement from discovery through contracting, delivery transition, and account expansion. The Sales Director partners closely with Blueprint’s sales, solution, delivery, recruiting, finance, legal, operations, and executive teams. The position requires credibility with Microsoft stakeholders, strong personal ownership, and the ability to establish structure, evaluate deal quality, and move opportunities forward. This is a hybrid role based in Bellevue, Washington, with an expectation of working from the office at least two days per week. Additional in-office attendance may be required based on business needs. The base salary range is $145,000 to $160,000 USD annually, with a midpoint of $152,500. The role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation tied to closed business. Actual starting compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Eligible employees have access to a comprehensive benefits package that may include medical, dental, and vision coverage; a Flexible Spending Account (FSA); a 401(k) retirement plan; competitive paid time off; parental leave; and professional growth and development opportunities. Benefits and eligibility may vary by role, employment status, and location.

Requirements

  • Strong opportunity qualification, account planning, commercial judgment, negotiation, and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to understand technical and delivery concepts well enough to connect customer needs to Blueprint capabilities and involve specialists at the right time.
  • A record of effective collaboration with delivery, solution architecture, recruiting, finance, legal, and executive teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Clear executive communication, strong business writing, and ability to turn complex pursuits into focused decisions and next steps.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling both project-based services and recurring or managed offerings.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or a comparable CRM and disciplined use of account and pipeline data.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a multi-year Microsoft account plan covering priority organizations, executive relationships, whitespace, active pursuits, and near- and long-term revenue opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with Microsoft business, engineering, procurement, vendor management, and partner stakeholders, expanding Blueprint’s reach beyond existing contacts and programs.
  • Translate Microsoft priorities into opportunities across data and AI, cloud and infrastructure, product development, customer support, managed services, and specialized talent solutions.
  • Establish a disciplined cadence for account reviews, stakeholder mapping, opportunity strategy, executive sponsorship, and follow-through.
  • Lead discovery and qualification, assessing business outcomes, buyer alignment, scope, timing, competition, delivery feasibility, and commercial path.
  • Coordinate Blueprint solution, delivery, recruiting, and executive leaders for pursuits; clarify ownership and keep decisions and deliverables moving.
  • Shape proposals, statements of work, pricing strategies, renewals, and expansion plans with delivery, finance, legal, and operations.
  • Navigate Microsoft contracting, procurement, supplier, and compliance processes, anticipating barriers that could delay pursuits or launches.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline stages, next steps, probability, timing, and forecasts; provide leadership with a candid view of account health and risk.
