About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sales Director to join our team. This full-time position is based in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Area. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing strong relationships with potential residents and their families, guiding them through the decision-making process for senior living options. Key aspects of the role include driving community occupancy through effective management of move-ins and move-outs, assisting Executive Directors in resident retention strategies, and ensuring an exceptional experience for leads during tours and community events. Arrow Senior Living manages a collection of senior living communities offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care across 34 properties in 6 states, employing nearly 2,200 individuals.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record as per the insurance carrier's policy.
  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a 12th grade proficiency.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Professional in appearance and conduct.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions and apply practical problem-solving skills if needed.
  • Must be criminally cleared.
  • Must be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
  • Good physical health shall be verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
  • Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.

Responsibilities

  • Developing close relationships to support potential residents and families in tough conversations about next-step solutions through empathy and understanding.
  • Helping leads and families problem-solve by shedding light on potential opportunities as they select the senior living option that suits their particular needs.
  • Responsible for knowledge and driving of gross and net gains in community occupancy through awareness of move-ins, move-outs, and shifting vacancies, as well as assisting Executive Directors in brainstorming ways to save current residents from moving out.
  • Ensuring exceptional lead experiences during tours and visits to community events.
