Baton is building an AI-native platform to make small business transitions transparent, fast, and fair, supporting millions of baby boomers. It is already the largest marketplace in the space with nearly 100 closed transactions and thousands of listings. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), your primary job is to generate and close new business. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting business owners into signed sale agreements. The focus is on founder-led businesses with $1–10M+ valuations, requiring direct communication with serious operators running meaningful companies. This involves building a pipeline, qualifying leads quickly, and driving urgency with owners focused on outcomes. This is a high-ownership, high-output role where speed, follow-up, and judgment are crucial. You will work across the full sales motion, from the first touch through to a signed agreement, collaborating with the team, and will be on the front lines of revenue.
