About The Position

WeWork is seeking a full-time Sales Development Representative based in New York City. This role reports directly to a National Inbound Manager and is integral to the Inbound team's success in achieving sales goals. The individual will be at the forefront of the sales process, responsible for understanding and passionately communicating the WeWork experience. Key aspects of the role include nurturing, developing, and handing off leads to the Leasing Team, carrying out processes, providing team updates, working with the SMB Strategy Team, and utilizing automation platforms for data management. The Sales Development Representative will own the entire sales process, from inbound lead qualification and prospecting to pipeline building and opportunity identification, with the ultimate goal of achieving 100% building occupancy through booked tours and meetings. The role also emphasizes providing excellent customer service to potential prospects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 1- 2 years of sales experience in startups and/or entrepreneurial environments
  • Comfortable using marketing automation platforms and CRM
  • Demonstrated experience in prospecting, developing, and handoff sales
  • Experience working on a team and leading a team player mentality
  • Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills
  • Exceptional organization skills and multi-tasking skills

Nice To Haves

  • Track record of sales in cold calling and emailing are helpful
  • Salesforce experience highly desirable
  • Experience in customer service and relationship building are highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of Sales Development Representatives
  • Nurture, develop, and handoff leads that ultimately result in booked tours/meetings set with our Leasing Team
  • Carry out processes implemented by the National Inbound Manager
  • Provide regular updates to your team about objectives and processes
  • Develop and handoff leads through sales processes
  • Work with the SMB Strategy Team to achieve team goals
  • Work with automation platforms to efficiently input and track data
  • Own the sales process: inbound lead qualification, prospecting, pipeline building and opportunity identification
  • Do anything needed to support the Inbound team in order to achieve team goals
  • Work towards/maintain 100% building occupancy through achieving booked tour goals/meetings set
  • Communicate the WeWork brand and lifestyle to ensure the highest conversion rate of booked tours/meetings set
  • Provide unmatched customer service to potential prospects to ensure an excellent start to their member experience
